Rolf George Shervey

Rolf George Shervey has built a career rooted in many professional capabilities, including business management consulting, project management, quality consulting and auditing, strategic planning, program management, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and technical writing. As an independent consultant and writer, he provides tailored services to clients and has authored or co-authored three technical publications.

George Shervey has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to quality throughout his professional achievements and personal values.

In 2015, he founded Quality Partners and served as Principal Consultant for Quality Management and Process. For nine years, he has offered guidance to organizations seeking to improve processes, increase operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. His work includes preparing quality manuals, policy documents, flow charts, and technical instructions supporting consistent and effective procedures.

Rolf has spent 15 years working in the semiconductor industry and eight years in aerospace. Over 14 of those years were dedicated to a company that later became Onto Innovation. From 2012 to 2015, he led the successful effort to achieve the company’s first ISO 9001 International Quality Management Systems certification. Following this milestone, he was promoted to Quality Systems Manager, overseeing over 600 employees across domestic and international locations. In that role, he reduced PCB assembly costs by $364,000 in one year and led a team of 14 internal quality auditors distributed across multiple business units.

Before his promotion, George Shervey was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who authored internal quality documentation and worked closely with third-party certification auditors. He began as a Senior Applications Engineer, collaborating with SEMATECH at SUNY Albany to operate and inspect metrology equipment. His responsibilities included experimenting with sensor technologies, managing installations and integrations of equipment valued between $1 million and $5 million, and training clients in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, China, Taiwan, and various European locations.

His efforts during this time earned him recognition in “Who’s Who In Engineering” in 2011.

George Shervey's career continued with roles such as Senior Applications Engineer, Technical Support Manager, Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, Regional Subcontracts Manager, and Production Quality Engineer. These roles spanned across multiple organizations and allowed him to contribute to quality systems, technical support, production processes, and subcontract oversight.

After completing high school, Rolf enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Nuclear Reactor Operator aboard submarines. His service led to assignments in various regions and earned him recognition. He continued to relocate in civilian life as companies across industries sought his expertise.

While working and traveling full-time, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Global Management from the University of Phoenix in Tempe. His education and training include certifications in Nuclear Electronics Technician Maintenance Supervisor Training and Submarine Reactor Operations & Maintenance. George Shervey completed ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor training certified by Exemplar Global, with certification valid through 2019.

Rolf was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and now resides in Melbourne, Florida. He is a practicing Roman Catholic who regularly attends Mass.

He has maintained long-term involvement in causes that support veterans and civic responsibility. He has been a member of The American Legion and the Wounded Warrior Project for over 15 years and a member and donor of the Heritage Foundation for more than seven years. He holds strong interests in civil society, human rights, international relations, economic empowerment, and culture.

His hobbies include travel, photography, cooking, writing, and spending time in nature. He often writes about subjects he cares deeply about, especially those related to veterans’ mental health, suicide prevention, and initiatives like the Til Valhalla Project, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Flanders Fields, and the American Legion, all of which support veterans and their families in meaningful ways. Rolf George Shervey remains committed to using his experience to contribute professionally and personally to the causes he values.
